Tips for Setting Goals

  • S.M.A.R.T. = Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Time
  • Be specific and know what it is you want and why you want it.
  • Make your goals measurable.
  • Make your goals attainable.
  • Make your goals realistic.
  • Set a time frame for your goal.
  • How will your life be different if you reach them?
  • Write down your goals AND share them with others.
  • Create small, attainable goals with the big goal as the end result.
  • Have an accountability partner or two.
  • Visualize yourself reaching those goals.
  • Use daily affirmations to help you toward those goals. But you must be consistent with them, feel them and not doubt them.
  • Release any doubts and believe in yourself.
  • Take action.
  • Meditate.
  • Be open-minded, determined and have a positive attitude.
